Barcelona completed the signing of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund on Friday and already the player is in the Catalan capital, having arrived this Sunday afternoon.
Already he has posed in a Barcelona official t-shirt at the club offices and he will be presented at the Camp Nou on Monday, first undergoing a medical and then signing his contract alongside president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
“I am very happy to be here,” he told the club’s media. “It has always been my dream to be at Barcelona. And now I’m here I’m very happy to have achieved my dream.
“This is the best club in the world with the best players in the world.
“My aim is to do everything for the club, everything for the team, and to have an understanding with my teammates.”
The 20-year-old is then set to take part in a photo session on the pitch and will also speak in his first press conference as a Blaugrana player at around midday.
Given that he has not been called up to the most recent French squad, Dembele can work with Ernesto Valverde and the other non-internationals over the coming week.
